Ladies VFW Auxiliary
ladiesaux@vfwpost4351.org The Ladies Auxiliary, which was founded in 1914 to help veterans and their families, is the backbone of VFW volunteer efforts. Promoting patriotism and helping veterans in need are just two of the many ways that the Auxiliary serves America's communities. The Ladies Auxiliary also has its own volunteer programs directed at VA, state and community hospitals.
Membership Eligibility
Ladies Auxiliary Membership is open to Wives, Widows, Mothers, Foster and Step-Mothers, Daughters, Grandmothers, Granddaughters, Foster and Step-Daughters, Sisters, Half-sisters, Foster and Step-sisters, (who attained that status prior to the age of 16) of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
In order for the Ladies Auxilary to get a charter they need to have 15 ladies signed up. We now have 10 signed up an a few possible.
Please if you know anyone that would like to join have them come by the post and pick up an application.
LADIES AUXILLARY FORMATION
FERNANDINA BEACH VFW POST 4351 is pleased to announce the formation of a new LADIES AUXILLARY . The new auxillary will be insittuted on SUNDAY, SEPT. 26,2010 at
1300 (1 p.m.) at the Post home on Wade Place. Nancy Trivett, President of the VFW LADIES AUXILLARY Iin Florida will be present as the instituting officer.
